tation for your system/board for more specific installation
instructions for your particular application.
7.
Connect the
LP4 Power Connector
on the
Mini Adapter
Card
to an LP4 connector on the
System Power Supply
.
8.
Locate an open
Expansion Card Slot
(e.g. PCI, PCI Express,
etc.) and remove the
Metal Cover Plate
on the rear of the
Host Computer’s Case/Chassis
.
9.
Place the expansion card bracket from the
Mini Adapter
Card
in the opening and fasten the card’s bracket to the rear
of the case.
10.
Place the
Cover
back onto the
Computer Case
.
11.
Reconnect the
Power Cable
to the back of the
Computer
.
12.
Reconnect all of the
Peripheral Devices
that were
disconnected in step 1.
13.
Connect
Peripheral Devices
to the
FireWire Connectors
on
the
Mini Adapter Card
.
Driver Installation
No driver or software installation is required for supported
operating systems, as this card is natively supported.
