Measurement outside measurement reach
range Perform measurements within the device's
range of reach
Error2
Surface to be measured has very weak signal
reflectivity Perform the measurement on a surface with
better reflectivity
Error3
Result exceeds the range of the display
(maximum value of 99999) Perform intermediate measurements, dividing
the value
Error4 Error in calculation of the Pythagorean theorem
Perform measurements again, checking the
steps
Error5 Batteries weak
Replace the used batteries with new ones (Do
not mix new batteries with used ones!)
Error6
Measurement outside the permitted temperature
Perform measurements only in environments
with temperatures between -5°C and +40°C
Error7
Environment too bright Try more dimly lit environments
