Getting Started
Before operating the Meatmaster, you must be sure to have complied with all safety instruc-
tions described in the previous section with regard to connection and leak test.
First, remove the grate from the Meatmaster. Then, place the meat on a cold grate. The
included standard catering tray should always be on the bottom of the Meatmaster, so that
dripping meat juices are collected in it.
You must strictly adhere to the sequence of the next steps!!!
To start up the Meatmaster, first, open the gas cylinder valve.
At this point in time, gas should not flow out from any part and gas odour should not be
perceptible. If this is the case, you must not operate the appliance.
To turn on the Meatmaster:
1.
Push down the control knob and turn it anti-clockwise to the HI position.
2.
If the burner doesn‘t light up within 5 seconds, turn the knob to the OFF position
and repeat step 1.
3.
If the burner fails to ignite, turn the control knob off (clockwise) and also turn the
cylinder valve off. Wait 5 minutes and repeat step 1.
4.
Adjust the heat by turning the knob to the High/Low position.
To turn off the Meatmaster simply close the gas cylinder valve.
You may reignite the Meatmaster only after it is fully cooled down.
In cold state the safety valve prevents gas from escaping at the cylinder‘s opened valve.
During operation, always make sure that the temperature sensor in the rear wall of the com-
bustion chamber does not come into contact with the cold grill item, since otherwise the
gas supply gets switched off by the safety valve.
Care & Storage
The grates and the catering try can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Stubborn stains on the grate or the tray can also be removed with household steel wool.
The easiest way to clean the Meatmaster after each use is when it is still in a lukewarm state
(not when it is hot!); the best method is to use Daily cleaner and Power cleaner.
Store your Meatmaster dry, do not expose it to rain and remember that the bottom of the
Meatmaster may show fat deposits after frequent use, which can cause stains if kept on
wood or carpets.
Before storage, disconnect the gas cylinder from the Meatmaster due to safety concerns.
