ShreddinG:

Plug the shredder into a grounded electrical
outlet.
±
Press the power button to turn the unit
on. The button will be illuminated in white to
signal the shredder is on and ready to shred.
±
To shred paper, a CD, DVD or credit card:
insert straight into the paper entry
(1).
±
Empty the paper bin frequently to avoid jams.
For the safety of children and pets, always
turn the shredder off by pressing the power
button and unplugging the shredder when it is
unattended or not in use.
emptYinG Bin:
The CHECK BIN LEVEL indicator will illuminate
red to indicate the shred level in the bin needs to
be checked.

Press the power button .
±
Remove the bin and either dispose of the paper
shreds or compress the shreds down.
±
Replace the bin
±
Press the power button to resume normal
operation.
oVerload:
If too much paper is inserted into the throat the
REDUCE PAPER icon will illuminate red. The
shredder will stop and automatically reverse for
2 seconds to prevent a jam. When this occurs,
remove the paper, recount the pages, and
continue to shred with bundles of 24 sheets
or less.
BaG manaGement SYStem

Place box of shredder bags in slot in the
bottom of the paper bin.
±
If able, lock box in place with side tabs.
±
Pull a bag from the box and secure the top of
the bag to the rim of the paper bin.
oVerheatinG
This shredder is equipped with a temperature
sensor device that protects the motor from heat
damage. If the device senses that the motor is
too hot, it will automatically turn off the shredder
and the overheat indicator will turn red. This is
normal. If this happens, your shredder will need
approx 40 minutes to cool. Once the overheat
indicator is no longer illuminated, you can
continue shredding as normal.
Sleep mode:
If the shredder is powered on and not used for
20 minutes, it will go into “Sleep Mode”. To turn
the unit back on, press the power button
twice. The power button will be illuminated
white and you can continue to shred as normal.

brand shredder lubricant
sheets. Apply lubricants after 30 minutes of
shredding or a minimum of twice per month.
