MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
If scheduled maintenance is NOT carried out then this
will void your warranty. Use the Service Log on page 23
to keep track of the regular servicing. Ensure that the
authorised service agent has dated, signed and stamped
this log to ensure your warranty is not void.
Fuel Tank Filter (PIC. 18)
The fuel tank filter should be checked annually or every 200
hours. If dirty, replace.
Fuel filter is located between the fuel tank and the fuel
hose.
1. Ensure fuel tank is empty
2. Remove hose clamp under fuel tank
3. Pull fuel hose off
4. Remove fuel filter, clean or replace
5. Refit fuel hose
6. Replace hose clamp
7. Fill tank with fuel and make sure no leaks
Spark Plug (PIC. 19)
Spark plug should be checked every 50 hours (operation)
or every 3 months and replaced every 100 hours
(operation) or every 6 months, which ever occurs first
or whenever considered necessary.
1. Unplug the spark plug lead off the spark plug.
2. To clean use a wire brush/nail file and remove the
carbon deposits on spark plug base.
3. Check the spark plug gap using a feeler gauge. The gap
should be 0.7mm
≈
0.8mm (0.028”
≈
0.031”).
4. The replacement spark plug is Torch F6RTC
or NGK BPR6ES.

Air Filter
Air filter should be check daily and cleaned or replaced
every 25 hours of operation or every 3 months whichever
occurs first or whenever considered necessary.
To check or replace the air filter;
1. Remove the air filter cover (Pic. 20) by pushing in the
2 lugs and gently pulling the forward and towards the
back to unclip the rear to clips.
2. If dirty you can clean the foam filter or just replace it.
3. Using a clean soft cloth wipe all dust and debris from
the air filter box and air filter cover.
4. Replace the foam filter.
5. Clip the back side of the air filter cover into place and
rotate forward to push the 2 front grooves over the 2
front lugs.
