Press the
POS
key, when connected to a GPS receiver, to displays
position data (LAT/LON) on the LCD.

ACCESSORY CONNECTION CABLE
Connects the radio to a GPS and an external speaker.

Connects the radio to a DC power supply of 13.8V

ANTENNA JACK
Connects an antenna to the transceiver. Use a marine VHF antenna
with an impedance of 50 ohms.

PTT (Push-To-Talk) SWITCH
Keys the transmitter when the transceiver is in radio mode.

CLEAR VOICE NOISE-CANCELING MICROPHONE
Transmits the voice message with reduction of background noise when
talking into the oval slit at the top of the mic.

UP and DOWN KEYS
The

function the same as the
UP
and
DOWN
keys on the
front panel of the transceiver.

Pressing the
16/9
key Immediately recalls channel 16 from any
location. Press and hold the
