7.2.
Electrical connection
The appliance should be connected to an AC power source.
Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that the voltage and frequency values given on
the rating plate of the appliance correspond with the voltage and frequency values at the place of installa-
tion.
The electrical outlet should be properly earthed and equipped with a differential current protection device
in accordance with legal provisions in force.
8. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
8.1.
Food Storage
For best results, follow these recommendations:
•
Place the product inside after the set temperature has been reached
•
Do not store hot food or liquids in containers without covering
•
Do not restrict the airflow inside the appliance by placing unnecessary items
•
Avoid frequent door openings
•
After closing the door, wait a while before opening it again
8.2.
Noise and vibrations
In a model with an integral air-tight condenser, the noise level does not exceed 70db, therefore no muting
is required.
Under normal working conditions, the device does not generate vibrations that would adversely affect the
environment.
9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
9.1.
Transport and storage
The device is wrapped with absorbent material and placed on a wooden pallet in a carton. The device
should be stored in a well-protected place at temperatures between -25°C and +55°C, with a humidity of
30% to 95%. Do not place more than three devices on top of each other when transporting or storing them.
9.2.
First cleaning
All parts of the appliance should be clean before use. Wash the inner parts and walls with a germicide. Clean
the plastic parts with a damp cloth. Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Use little or no water at all.
Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents. When cleaning, do not clean with bare hands where you
might cut yourself (condenser, etc...) and always wear gloves.
9.3.
Periodic cleaning
For hygiene and performance improvements, clean the inner bowls at least once a week. First do manual
defrosting (see 5.8); once complete, disconnect the appliance from the mains and clean as instructed in 7.2.
(First cleaning).
9.4.
Cleaning the condenser
To improve performance, clean the condenser at least once a week. Before starting work, turn off the ap-
pliance, disconnect it, close it and secure it.
Open the bottom panel with the supplied key.

Remove the protective filter (dust filter). Placed as illustrated

Remove the dust on the front of the condenser with a brush and a vacuum cleaner and then, replace
the dust filter.
9.5.
Device in standby
If you do not intend to use the unit for an extended period of time, please take the following precautions:
•
Remove the products from the chamber
•
Cut off power supply
•
Thoroughly clean the appliance
•
Ventilate the chamber
10. PROBLEMS, CAUSES, SOLUTIONS
