Function
Application range
The 9721 switch is used for linking electrical Ethernet networks (TX) and networks based
on fibre optics (FX). The fibre optics are used for operation in the hazardous areas of
Zones 0, 1 and 2 with the "Ex op is" type of protection (IEC/EN 60079-28).
Mode of operation
The switch has two TX ports and four FX-op is ports. Redundant supply can be provided.
