6 Mounting and Installation
6.1 Mounting/Dismounting

Mount the device carefully and only in accordance with the safety information
(see "Safety" chapter).
▶
Read through the following installation conditions and assembly instructions carefully and
follow them precisely.
6.1.1 Operating Position
• The device is fitted with two mounting rails for mounting on the wall or ceiling.
• Horizontal, vertical and floor mounting are possible.
• For floor and ceiling mounting, observe the reductions in the maximum permissible
ambient temperature, see "Product selection and project engineering" chapter,
"Floor or ceiling mounting" section.
• For mounting on ceilings made of concrete, stone or wood, attach a suspension
measuring 8 cm.
• Observe the weight depending on the type and built-in components.

Non-compliance results in fatal or severe injuries.

Ceiling mounting is permissible indoors or outdoors with sufficient weather
protection (see chapter 6.1.2).

Install the device on a level surface only, so that it is not subjected to torsion.
For information about mounting, such as the position of the fastening holes and the
weight of the device, see the "Technical data" chapter and dimensional drawings,
see chapter "Appendix B".
