Mounting and Installation
6.1
Mounting
▶
Mount the device carefully and only in accordance with the safety information
(see the "Safety" chapter).
▶
Read through the following installation conditions and assembly instructions carefully and
follow them precisely.
6.1.1 Operating Position
▶
Align the enclosure depending on the mounting type:
• For vertical mounting: Any orientation.
• For horizontal mounting: Cover on top.
• The device must not be suspended above the ground and the cover must not be at an
angle.
• Take into account the clearance that is required to open the cover.

DANGER! Explosion hazard due to insufficient fastening of the enclosure using
screws!
Non-compliance results in fatal or severe injuries.

Tighten all cover screws to the specified tightening torques
(see the "Technical data" chapter). When doing this, ensure that the original
R. STAHL cover screw included in the installation kit is mounted in each mounting
hole.
DANGER! Explosion hazard due to incorrect mounting position!
Non-compliance results in fatal or severe injuries.

The device must be secured to the floor or a wall only – it is not designed to be
installed overhead or used as a free-standing unit.
▶
Install the device on a level surface only, so that it is not subjected to torsion.
▶
When installing additional components, comply with the requirements set out in the
additional documentation (see also chapter 1.3).
