Recording Lamp
The DVL Recording Lamp will be illuminated whenever a
video recording is being made.
Recommended Vehicle System Power
connections
Power for the Stack synchronised video logging system must
be connected to a permanent power supply such as the
Master switch and not to the switched Ignition supply. This
arrangement allows the engine to be switched off before the
power to the Stack system.

Failure to stop the DVL from recording before the power is
removed will cause up to the last 20 seconds of the video
recording in progress to be lost!
Downloading Video
Registering the DVL
Before downloading data from the DVL it must be registered
with DataPro. Select Download Manager from the Run Data
menu. Click Add Vehicle to pop up the following dialog
box.
Use this screen to enter a
Name
for your DVL and
choose a
Session
for it to
download into. Enter the
Serial Number
of your
DVL into the
Tag
field as a seven digit number including leading zeros,
eg, “
0023902
”. The Serial Number can be found on the
Information
tab of the DVR Configuration Utility. Finally
click OK to dismiss the box.
