Chapter 6. Configuration

the DVR Configuration Utility must be updated to match.
You can perform that action by following this procedure :-
1. Ensure the DVL and Stack Data Monitoring system are
connected together by CAN and powered up.
2. Upload the new or modified configuration from Designer.
3. Connect the DVL to your PC using the USB lead
supplied. If the DVR Configuration Utility is not
running start it now. If it is already running, just click on
the Read Config. button. Both of these actions will copy
the channel list from the DVL into the Utility.

If you made changes to the channels used by the Stack
Data Monitoring System, those changes will be shown in
the Data Recording pane.
4. Now you can make changes to the DVL configuration
(set recording rates, modify the Overlay screen etc).
5. Finally click Write Config. to upload the configuration to
the DVL.

This last action must be performed regardless of
whether you made any specific changes to your DVL‟s
configuration or not.
