SYSTEM INSTALLATION
Filter System must:
Be Solid - Level - Rigid - Vibration free.
Be installed with trap suction inlet below pool water level at all times (this al-
lows pump to prime).
Have adequate ventilation to prevent motor overheating.
Be protected from excess moisture, such as water puddles or rain runoff from
roof or decking.
Provide space and lighting for easy access for routine maintenance. (See
Figures 1 and 2 and Table II, above, for space requirements.)
Be installed as close to pool as possible to reduce line loss from pipe friction
(see below).
To reduce risk of electrical shock, install system at least five feet away from
the inside wall of the pool when equipped with a twist-lock plug or 10 feet
away from the inside wall of the pool when equipped with a straight plug. Do
not use an extension cord.
