Description
An audio codec CS42L51-CNZ is connected to either I2S6 or SAI interface of STM32H7B3LIH6QU (Refer to
below for configurations) to support the TDM feature.
This feature implements audio recording on an analog microphone and audio playback of a different audio stream
on headphones and lineout at the same time.
It communicates with STM32H7B3LIH6QU via the I2C2 bus.
The analog microphone on the headset is connected to the ADC of CS42L51-CNZ through audio jack CN20.
•
External speakers can be connected to CS42L51-CNZ via audio jack CN18.
Important:
I2S6 interface is used by default.
7.1.2
Operating voltage
STM32H7B3LIH6QU SAI and I2S6 interfaces can only be at 3.3 V on this board.
The audio codec CS42L51-CNZ has two power supply voltages:
•
VL connected to 3V3_AO (Default configuration)
•
VD, VA, and V_HP connected to 1V8_AO (Default configuration).
These pins can also be powered by 3V3_SW and 1V8_SW if necessary by fitting corresponding solder bridges.
