SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: BEFORE USING THE WELDING MACHINE READ THE INSTRUCTION
MANUAL CAREFULLY!
The operator should be properly trained to use the welding machine safely and
should be informed about the risks related to arc welding procedures, the
associated protection measures and emergency procedures.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK – COULD DEATH!
- Do not touch live electrical parts.
- Turn off the welding machine and unplug it before performing any service
work. If service work does not explicitly require it to be turned on.
- If this procedure requires an energized unit, have only personnel familiar with
and following standard safety practices do the job.
- Insulate yourself from ground by standing or working on dry insulating mats big
enough to prevent contact with the ground.
GASES IN THE WELDING PROCESS CAN DAMAGE HEALTH!
- Provide adequate ventilation.
- - Use suitable gas extraction equipment.
- If gases cannot be fully soaked up, wear suitable respiratory equipment during
operation.
ARC RADIATION – HARMFUL TO YOUR EYE AND BURN YOUR SKIN

- Never weld without safety welding shield or glasses with protective filter or with
protective glass and wear suitable work clothing. Be careful that other people in
the working area are also protected from arc radiation.
DANGER OF FIRE!
- Do not weld near flammable materials, or if flammable gas, dust, or vapors are
present in the atmosphere.
- Do not weld containers for storing combustibles or closed containers, such as
tanks, barrels, or pipes.
- Do not place the welding machine on or near flammable surfaces.
- Do not repair the welding machine near flammable liquids.
