Warning Sounds While Driving with Engaged
Parking Brake

If you drive the vehicle without releasing the
parking brake, the brake warning light blinks
and the buzzer sounds to warn the driver
when the vehicle speed exceeds 10 km/h
for more than 2 seconds. When this
happens, stop the vehicle immediately and
release the parking brake.

Park at a safe place, and depress the parking brake pedal
firmly.

When the pedal is depressed, the brake warning light ( )
on the instrument cluster comes on.

To release the parking brake, pull up the lever.

Before driving off, be sure to check that the brake warning light is
turned off.

z

If you drive the vehicle without releasing the parking brake, the
brake system will be damaged. Make sure that you fully release
the parking brake before driving.

If the brake warning light (

the parking brake, have the brake system checked at the nearest
