4. BATTERY INSTALLATION

2. Remove protective film
on keypad.

WARNING: The batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries
must be removed from the product and discarded safely. Do not use rechargeable
(nickel – cadmium) batteries.
Locate the battery cover on
the interior vault lock housing.
Remove the cover with the
screwdriver (included). Insert
the 4 AAA batteries in the proper
orientation. The touch pad will
beep when the batteries are
successfully installed.
2. The spring loaded lid will
open upwards automatically,
but does not open to a fully
accessible position.

Locate the back up key on the
front surface of the vault.
Insert the back up key and
turn it counter-clockwise to
open your vault.
