Material composition
You can see detailed information printed on
your FastProtect Malleo.
Correct storage
Do not store your FastProtect Malleo with
sharp or heavy objects. Do not store the
product above 30 °C or below -10 °C. Please
store your product in a dry place and protect
it from humidity. Avoid direct sunlight
and frost.
Shelf life
The product has a shelf life of two years.
The usage period with normal use is one
year. The usage period of the medical
product is printed on the box with an
hourglass symbol.
Damage
If the adaptor/strap of your FastProtect
Malleo is damaged, replace it with a new
one. Do not try to repair it. The manu-
facturer does not accept any liability for
damage/injuries resulting from improper
use or misuse.
Wear and tear
Please ensure that there are no signs of wear
and tear in your trainers, for example on
the inside of the heel, that may rub on the
material of your FastProtect Malleo, thus
damaging it.
Disposal
You can dispose of FastProtect Malleo with
general household waste.
FURTHER INFORMATION
At which temperatures can I wear my
FastProtect Malleo?
Temperatures should not exceed 40 °C or be
below -10 °C.
Resistant
You can apply creams and ointments under-
neath your FastProtect Malleo. This will not
damage the material.
Washing and care instructions
Air your FastProtect Malleo after use
and leave it to dry. If needed, you can
wash it by hand. FastProtect Malleo
is not suitable for washing machines/
tumble driers.
In the event of complaints related to this product,
such as damage to the material or a problem with
the fit, please contact your medical retailer directly
or our sportomedix Customer Service Team (email:

Only serious incidents that may lead to a major
deterioration in the patient’s medical condition or to
death should be reported to the manufacturer and
the relevant authority in the Member State. Serious
incidents are defined in Article 2 (65) Regulation (EU)
2017/745 (MDR).
