Operator Console Mode
Operator Console Mode enables additional information to be displayed within your Speed Dial icons in
Favourites. Your System Administrator can configure this facility for you, if not already available. The
purpose of this facility is to give you the data required to deal with calls efficiently when, for example, you
are a receptionist dealing with a large volume of calls. For further information on creating speed dials
please refer to the Favourites (Speed Dials) section from page 29.
When Operator Console Mode is enabled your speed dials will provide you with the following information:
This User is currently on a call.
This User has one new message and no missed calls.
This Department has 2 new messages and one missed call
This User has Do Not Disturb turned on
The asterisk indicates that this User has call divert set.
This User has Do Not Disturb turned on and has call divert set.
This User is not logged in.
This User is listening to voicemail.
Please note that if you are using a PCS 60 in partnership with your PCS 570 and the operator console
information is only appearing on your PCS 60 your User account will have been configured to function in
this manner. Your system administrator will be able to confirm this configuration.
Phone Information
Your system administrator will require the set up information of the phone in order to upgrade and
troubleshoot your handset, if required. This information can be accessed as follows:
1 Select the Favourites button
2 Select the context sensitive key beside the Settings icon.
