Make sure the steam knob (K) and the knob for hot water (E) are closed.
Switch on the main machine switch
(L).
Move the coffee group general switch (ON/OFF)
(D)
to ON.
Place a large container, at least 7 cm high under each coffee group.
Press the coffee delivery switch (
B
)
(version without volumetric dosing, picture n.1)
.
Press long coffee switch and let water flow in the bowl:
ATTENTION:
water is very hot, to
avoid splashes use a high bowl
(version with volumetric dosing, picture n.2).
Repeat the water flow 2-3 times per each group, until water tank is empty.
At the end of this rinse phase, it is possible to start coffee normal brewing.
STEAM BOILER START UP
Before the first brewing or after 5 days of disuse of the machine, it is recommended to wash the
inside of the coffee groups and water tanks. Proceed as follows:
Connect the machine to the power supply
(version with inner tank)
.
Before inserting the plug into the power supply socket, make sure that the machine is well
connected to the water mains and that there is enough pressure in the system (version with
water connection).
Insert the water tank filled with water in their slot.
Sure that there is no obstruction or folding to stop water running through the pipes.
Make sure the steam knob (K) and the knob for hot water (E) are closed.
Switch on the Steam and Hot Water Switch (M). After a few seconds the first refilling cycle
will start
.
Important:
at this stage, it is fundamental to make sure that the pump sucks only water as air
could cause the pump overheating.
After one minute, the first refilling cycle will be finished and the machine safety system will
start up with an alternating “bip” sound.
Re-set the alarm by switching off the Steam and Hot Water Switch (
M
)
Refill the water tank and switch on the boiler (
M
) again to carry out the second tank filling
cycle. At this point, the boiler light (Q) will switch on to show that the boiler is heating.
At the end of the refilling, the steam group will start to heat reaching the proper temperature for
hot water and steam. Once temperature is reached, you must:
Insert the steam arm (J) in a deep bowl.
