3.10.
Signalling direction indicators
The signalling of the direction indicator (
) shows the status of the alarm lights.
A. Indicator alarm lights (red):
-
Flashes at enabled alarm lights (
switch 48 on the control panel
).
The other two lights below the indicator are not in use.
3.10.1.
Operating system signalling direction indicators
On the system, there are four lamps of 21 W each connected to the direction indicators
(per vehicle side):
•
Direction indicator at the front of the truck;
•
Direction indicator at left/right side of the truck;
•
Direction indicator at the rear of the truck;
•
Direction indicator on buffer beam or trailer.
The flashing relays measures the power consumption at the enabled direction indicator.
This corresponds with:
•
4 x 21 W, then both direction indicators are operated (see
•
3 x 21 W, then only direction indication 1 is operated;
•
2 x 21 W or less, then both direction indicators remain off.
CAUTION!
When while driving on the public road no trailer is used, driving with the unfolded
buffer beam (including lighting) is required by law
