Overload protection
The pump is equipped with a thermal-amperometric motor protector. In case of motor
overload, the motor protector shuts down the pump automatically. When the motor has
cooled, the pump starts up again automatically. If the motor protector steps in, it is absolutely
necessary to locate and eliminate the cause of the malfunction (see the
TROUBLESHOOTING section).
3. Usage
3.1. Intended Applications
•
This pump has been designed for private use in domestic environments, and specifically to pump
soft water from wells, underground springs or storage tanks and to supply single sprinklers or
irrigation systems.
•
The pump may also be used in boreholes having a minimum internal diameter of 100mm.
•
The pump is watertight and must be submerged in water (max. depth 15m)
•
The pump is suitable for pumping the following liquids only:
a) Clear water;
b) Rain water.
3.2. Forbidden Applications
The pump is not suitable for pumping:
a) Salt
water;
b) Liquid
foods;
c) Corrosive or chemical substances;
d) Acid, flammable, explosive or volatile liquids;
e) Liquids at a temperature exceeding 35°C.;
f) Sandy water or abrasive liquids;
g) Sewage;
h) Liquids containing textile materials or paper fragments.

5. Installation
5.1. Installing the Pipe
Do not install a non-return valve on the pump delivery side, as there is one already present
inside the pump.
The non-return valve prevents the system from draining every time the pump stops.
•
Attach the delivery pipe to the delivery port.
•
Secure the power cable to the delivery pipe.
•
Lower the pump into the well using the rope provided for this purpose.
