REMOVING CONTAMINATED FILTER
CAUTION: Always wear gloves and an approved respirator when changing the filters.
1. Unplug the power cord
2. Remove filter
3. Install new filter just above the flange.
OPERATION – WET PICK-UP
1. Remove the filter and place the vacuum head on a 5 gallon bucket. Snap
and secure handle in holders.
2. Move the vacuum control switch to the Vacuum Wet setting. See FIGURE 3
and on vacuum head.
3. Vacuum no more than 4 gallons of liquid at a time.
4. Make sure vacuum intake is above the surface of the liquid being vacuumed.
If the intake is below the liquid, it can continue to siphon even if the vacuum
is turned off.
5. When suction stops or slows greatly and the motor speed increases, bucket
is full.
ON/OFF SWITCH
After plugging the power cord into the outlet, turn the vacuum on by pushing the switch
from position “O” to position “I”. The symbols used on the switch actuator are the
international “On & Off” symbols. “O” is the symbol for OFF and “I” is the symbol for
“ON”.
