F2808 Operation

This chapter describes the eZdsp

TM

F2808, key components, and operation.

Information on the eZdsp’s various interfaces is also included. The eZdsp

TM

F2808

consists of four major blocks of logic:

• Analog Interface Connector
• I/O Interface Connector
• JTAG Interface
• USB Port JTAG Controller Interface

2.1 The eZdsp

TM

F2808 Board

The eZdsp

TM

F2808 is a 5.25 x 3.0 inch, multi-layered printed circuit board, powered

by an external 5-Volt only power supply. Figure 2-1 shows the layout of the top side

of the eZdsp

F2808.
