STEP 13: FINAL CONNECTION:
1. Direct the waste line (yellow ) to a drain or connect it permanently to a drain pipe via a drain saddle. (Drain Saddle
is not included with system)
Look for leaks and do not leave the system alone until you are sure there are no
leaks. Monitor the system for 72 hrs.
OPTIONAL INSTALLATION FOR WASTE WATER LINE (USING A DRAIN SADDLE)
CHECK BEFORE LEAVING SYSTEM UNATTENDED:
- Ensure that all fittings are tight and leak-free before leaving the system unattended.
- The concentrate line (yellow) includes a smaller capillary tube (flow restrictor) that is located “inside” of the
tubing. Do not remove or discard this restrictor; the system will not produce permeate water without the
flow restrictor.
- Downstream of the flow restrictor is a Waste Flow Adjustment Valve
(W.F. Adj shown on page 6)
used to
fine-tune the waste water. NEVER close it off completely, as that will damage the membrane.
- The following conditions must be met before water will flow through the system: The water source
must be turned “ON” and the water level in the reservoir tank must be below the low level float, if present.
