Fasteners/Nails
Your Spear and Jackson nailer uses clipped head 34 degree paper collated framing nails from 2.87mm
to 3.33mm in diameter and 50mm to 90mm in length. Using the incorrect nails will damage the tool
and cause the nails to jam. (Not covered under warranty)
An anti-dry fire feature is incorporated in this tool. When there are only 3~5 nails left in the
magazine, the tool will cease to fire until more nails are loaded. This prevents firing the tool with
no nails fitted which could damage the nailer
.
1. Slide the nail strips into the magazine. Ensure that the nails are loaded correctly. 80 nails can be
loaded at a time.
2. Pull the magazine actuator firmly downwards until the end of the magazine is reached.
3. Slowly release the magazine actuator until the actuator contacts the loaded nails.
