4. Connection

Note that transmitter and receiver are identical in build, but are designated as transmitter and

receiver in these operating instructions for easier understanding. The transmitter is located on the

side of the audio source, the receiver on the side of the signal pick-up device (e.g. microphone).

1.  Always follow the operating instructions of the devices to be connected.

2.  Turn off all devices to be connected and deenergise them.

3.  For connection you require a patch cable (CAT5 UTP, CAT5e UTP or CAT6 UTP). If you are not sure about

anything, get advice from a specialist retailer.

4.  Only two wires of the patch cable are required for connection. If connectors are attached to the cable,

disconnect them on both sides.

5.  Select two wires and strip them on both sides to a sufficient length.

6.  Connect the wires to the screw-type terminals + and  on the transmitter and receiver. Take care to ensure

the correct polarity is observed, i.e. same wire colour, same polarity. Use an appropriate screwdriver. Do not

use force when tightening the terminal screws.

7.  Connect the cinch connectors to the audio source and the signal pick-up device (e.g. microphone). Note

Ill. 1.

8.  You can now commence the audio playback.
