6. Start-up
a) Installation
During installation, make sure that connection cables are not crimped or damaged by sharp edges. Install the
A/V selector switch on a flat, stable, horizontal surface. Choose an installation location that the connection
cables of all source devices to be connected can reach. A wall outlet for the power supply also has to be
reachable nearby. The location should also be chosen so that intense sunlight or heat from other devices is
avoided as much as possible. Make sure that the ventilation openings on the device itself are unobstructed
so that cooling inside is ensured.
