1. Intended use
The A/V selector switch is for connecting and switching between audio and video connections of various consumer electronics
devices for private use. It also amplifies the input signals. For example, it can connect the AV input of your TV set with up to five
AV outputs of AV source devices (video recorder, camera, DVD player, etc.). The A/V selector switch can be operated manually,
but also remotely with the infrared remote control.
The device is only approved for operation with the plug-in power supply unit that is included. Use of the device is only allowed
in closed rooms, i.e., not outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g., in the bathroom, is absolutely to be avoided.
Any other use than just described leads to damage of this product and, in addition, is associated with dangers such as short
circuit, fire, electric shock, etc.
Please read through the operating instructions thoroughly and keep them for future reference.

The plug-in power supply unit included is designed for protection category II.

Only a 230V/50Hz (10/16 A) wall outlet of the public power supply can be used as power source for the plug-in power supply

unit. Never attempt to operate the plug-in power supply unit at another voltage.
Make sure that all electrical connections, connection lines between the devices and any extension cables are according to

specifications and in agreement with the operating instructions.
If you are unsure as to the mode of operation, safety or connection of the device, consult a specialist.

The electrical device is not a toy. Be especially careful in the presence of children. There is danger of a life-threatening

electric shock.
Also follow the safety information in the operating instructions of the connected devices.

Never pour liquids on electrical devices. There is an extremely high danger of a fire or life-threatening electric shock. Should

such a case nevertheless occur, pull the power supply unit out of the wall outlet immediately and consult a specialist.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device is to be put out of operation and secured

against unintended operation. Safe operation is no longer possible if the device:
shows visible damages,

no longer works,
–
was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
–
was subject to considerable transport stress.
