Fig. 3b (Mounting on solid ceiling constructions):
• Select the position and the height of the ceiling bracket at the mounting location.
Make sure to mount the ceiling bracket the right way round. The extended arm of the
ceiling bracket must point toward the back of the TV set.
• Align the mounting plate as desired.
• Mark the necessary drilling holes at the mounting site. To this end, use the ceiling bracket as
a template.
• Drill the required holes and insert suitable dowels in the boreholes (W-B or special dowels).
• Screw the two screws for the drop-shaped holes in the mounting plate (W-A or screws from
the dealer that are suitable for the mounting surface) into the ceiling and let them stand out
approx. 4 mm.
• Place the ceiling bracket with the drop-shaped holes on the two screw heads and slide it until
the screws lie in the narrower part of the hole.
• Put the two remaining screws with the washers (W-C) in place and screw the ceiling bracket
into place with all four screws.
Fig. 4:
When attaching the base plate to the TV set, make absolutely certain that you
use the correct screws. Not only must these be of the correct thread type for
the TV set, but they must also not be too long; otherwise they will damage the
TV set.
The screws must not be too short, however, since otherwise the connection
will not be secure. The screws must be screwed into the threaded
fi
xture holes
on the TV set with at least 5 full 360° turns.
Should the screw length of the screws in the mounting set provided (M) are not
suitable for your TV set, please acquire suitable screws at your local hardware
store.
If you have any doubt about the correct length of the screws required, we rec-
ommend that you contact the TV manufacturer or an appropriate specialist.
Make absolutely certain that the base plate is mounted in the centre of the TV
set.
• Fasten the base plate to the rear of your TV set using suitable screws and washers from the
mounting screw set (M).
• Should the back of your TV set be curved or if you want to mount the TV set at a greater
distance to the base plate, you can insert the spacers provided (M-G) between the base plate
and the back of the TV.
• Do not use any force when tightening the screws; otherwise the TV set may be destroyed,
leading to loss of warranty/guarantee!
Fig. 5:
• Lift the TV set with the base plate onto the ceiling bracket, as shown in the
fi
gure. The hooks
on the arm of the ceiling bracket must be
fi
tted neatly into the openings of the mounting plate.
• Screw the mounting plate onto the arm of the ceiling bracket with the previously removed
screws (see Fig. 1). To do so, use the enclosed Allen key (B).
Fig. 6:
• Remove the covers from the turning axis of the ceiling bracket and adjust the screw with the
enclosed Allen key (C) such that the arm with the attached TV set can be moved but suf
fi
cient
friction hinders the
fl
ap motion.
• Attach the covers again after this adjustment.
• Loosen the screws of the height adjustment with enclosed Allen key (B) as shown in the image
and set the desired screen height by shifting the holder on the arm.
• Firmly tighten the screws of the height adjustment again once you have completed your ad-
justment.
Fig. 7:
• The TV set can be folded against the mounting surface when not in use. To do this, simply
push the TV set against the mounting surface until it clicks into place.
• To unfold it, press the TV set against the mounting surface so that the folding mechanism is
released again.
• In the unfolded state, the TV screen can also be turned.
Maintenance and care
The product does not have to be serviced and, except for occasional cleaning with a soft, dry
cloth, requires no maintenance whatsoever.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surfaces.
