• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow
the device to reach room temperature before connecting and using it. This may
take several hours.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may
damage your hearing.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.

expert or at a qualified shop.

Operation
• Connect the product to an available USB port of your Windows
®
or Mac computer. Please
refer to “Technical data” for more info on suitable operating systems. The white LED indicator
lamp lights up, when the product is connected to a power supply. The blue LED indicator
lamp lights up, when the system detects a 96 kHz signal. If necessary, adjust the sound
of your computer to 96000 Hz (96 kHz). To do so, please refer to the user manual of your
operating system.
• Use the provided USB-A cable, if the USB ports on your computer allow little space for
connecting USB devices. Furthermore, using the USB-A cable will unburden the USB port,
especially when connecting heavy audio cables.
• Connect the stereo jack plug of your headphones or earphones to the headphone socket of
your product. The delivery scope includes an adapter cable for 3.5 mm to 6.35 mm stereo
jack plugs.

Start playing music files on your computer and adjust the volume through the operating
system.
• If you cannot hear any sound, check whether the audio output on your computer must be
set to USB mode.
• Disconnect the product from the USB port after use. Please note that some operating
systems require the product to be ejected first before being physically disconnected from
the USB port.
Cleaning and care
• Unplug this product from the power supply and the connected devices before cleaning.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.

Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
• Store the product in the storage pouch provided.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Intended use
The product is intended for converting digital audio signals into analog audio signals with a
resolution of up to 96 kHz/24 bit. The product is to be connected to the USB port of a computer.
The audio socket of the product is intended for connecting headphones or earphones with
3.5 mm jack plug or for connecting a 6.35 mm jack plug using the adapter cable provided. The
delivery scope of the product includes a USB-A cable cable and a storage pouch.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
