Start Up

— Check water tank level. This water jet is equipped with a

Low Water Shut-Off

switch that will

prevent the engine from starting at low water levels.

— Check fuel level.

Note:

Also Check engine and pump oil levels per manufacturer specifications (attached).

— Turn high pressure reel supply valve “off”.

— Turn key to start the engine. Choke as necessary.

— Allow the engine to warm up at idle for 3 to 5 minutes before putting engine under load.

Engine Shut-Down

— Turn high pressure reel supply valve “off”.

— Allow engine to idle for 1 to 2 minutes

— Turn the engine key switch

OFF

. (The engine key switch must be OFF when the engine is not running to

avoid battery draining.)
