Filter / Startup
Limitation of usage:
IMPORTANT! Always shut down the pump when changing positions on the 4-way valve!
1. Filtration
Normal function.
The water circulates through the filter and returns clean.
2. Backwash
The water passes through the filtration media in the opposite
direction and dirt runs out through the backwash pipe. Run this
mode when required, or when the pressure dial goes over 0,7 bars.
Use a 20-25 liter bucket to drain the dirty water into, drain until
filled.
3. Rinse
This function helps to avoid dirt being carried back in the water. The
dirty overflow water is backwashed from the backwashing pipe.
Run for about 5 seconds.
Run after every backwash.
4. Winter time
If the filter is not in use during winter time, remove the filter and bring it to a place
where the ambient temperature is above freezing.
NOTE!
Remove the filter balls when the spa is drained for a long time. Otherwise, mold may grow in them
.

Filtration media (FilterBalls)

Fill up the filter balls to the level that is shown in the picture.
2.
Install the valve body.
3.
Follow the instructions on startup below.
NOTE! Points 1-2 have already been completed upon delivery.
Startup
1.
Place valve in position Backwash.
2.
Open valves 5 and 6, see page 5.
3.
Set the 4-way valve in normal mode FILTRATION when the
starts to come out and start the circulating pump.

Max water temperature: 40 °C.
•
Max water flow: 20000 l/t.
•
Type of sand: 0,4 – 0,8 mm.
•
Min. water temperatuer: 4
°C.
•
Max distance from pool/spa 10 meter.
