INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESSURE TEST GAUGE CONNECTION
CHECKING GAS PRESSURES
a.
Switch off the gas and electricity and gas supply to the appliance. NOTE: Turn off manual shutoff at gas line
otherwise gas comes out.
b.
Connect a manometer to the test nipple protruding from the rear panel of the Control Box (adjacent to the
Air Inlet Adaptor). See Fig. 22. Open the Control Box door after releasing the two toggle latches.

INLET GAS PRESSURE CHECK
1.
Switch off the gas and electricity and gas supply to the appliance. NOTE: Turn off manual shutoff at gas line
otherwise gas comes out.
2.
Turn the pressure test screw in the center of the gas valve INLET pressure test boss (see Fig. 22a below) not
more than one turn counterclockwise. Connect the free end of the manometer tube (permanently connected
to the manometer test nipple inside the side panel of the control box) to the INLET test boss (See Fig. 22a).
Close the control box door and secure with the two toggle latches.

Ignite the appliance burner by switching on the electricity supply to the appliance and check that the
manometer reading is as shown in the chart above (see also the Data Label affixed to the Burner Control
Box).
4.
Switch off the electricity supply to the appliance and remove the manometer tube from the gas valve test
boss. After testing, carefully seal test point with the provided screw. Recommended torque = 1.0 Nm.
OUTLET GAS PRESSURE CHECK AND ADJUSTMENTS
1.
Switch off the gas and electricity and gas supply to the appliance. NOTE: Turn off manual shutoff at gas line
otherwise gas comes out.
2.
Turn the pressure test screw in the center of the gas valve OUTLET pressure test boss (see Fig. 22a below) not
more than one turn counterclockwise. Connect the free end of the manometer tube (permanently connected
to the manometer test nipple inside the side panel of the control box) to the OUTLET test boss (See Fig. 22a).
Close the control box door and secure with the two toggle latches.

Ignite the appliance burner by switching on the electricity supply to the appliance and check that the
manometer reading is as shown in the chart above (see also the Data Label affixed to the Burner Control Box).
4.
Switch off the electricity supply to the appliance and remove the manometer tube from the gas valve test
boss. After testing, carefully seal test point with the provided screw. Recommended torque = 1.0 Nm.
TO ADJUST REGULATOR (single stage gas valves):
In the event that the burner setting pressure is incorrect, remove the plug from the control box door and insert
a suitable screwdriver through the exposed hole in the box to adjust the pressure. See Fig. 23.

Disconnect pressure regulator connection “VENT” (if used). Remove the protective plug
A (see Fig. 22a below).
Turn regulator adjustment screw B clockwise
to increase presure, or counterclockwise
to decrease
pressure. After setting put back the protective plug.
DO NOT EXCEED THE PRESSURES SHOWN IN THE GAS PRESSURE TABLE ABOVE
