If the belts show wearness (even if light) or cannot be tensioned any more
because it is not possibile to adjust furtherly the mechanical tensioning
system, replace the belts. Before replacing, it is necessary to clean the
pulleys, especially from the rubber residuals left from previous belts.
A high number of worn belts in a short time is not
normal. Please check that the rotor rotates freely
without obstacles blocking its movement.
• Make sure the knives are still sharp and that they do not show signs of breakages or
excessive wear. In case their replacement is needed, always use original knives as
supplied by the manufacturer.
• Verify the oil level in the gearbox through the oil level cap placed on the side of the
gearbox (see Fig.3). The oil has to flow through the hole. In case a refill is needed,
unplug the oil filler cap from the top of the gearbox and proceed with the filling until
the oil flows again through the hole.
