INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Southwire LED Barn Light
Please read and follow the instructions carefully before trying to install the
fixture. Please retain this instruction sheet for future reference.
PRE-INSTALLATION:
Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are
included. Be careful not to misplace any of the screws or parts needed for
installing the fixture. 2 Hex bolts, 3 expansion bolts, 3 self-tapping screws,
3 wire nuts, 1 wrench, 1 feed cover board.
INSTALLATION:
CAUTION: Turn OFF the circuit breaker and light switch before beginning
installation.
1. Refer to the size of the diagram to drill the holes into the wall.
2. Fix the two paratactic screws to the holes.
3. Connect the power cord.
a. Connect the fixture ground wire (GREEN) to the ground supply wire using
a wire nut.
b. Connect the BLACK fixture wire to the BLACK (Line) supply wire using the
wire nuts.
c. Connect the WHITE fixture wire to the WHITE (Neutral) supply wire using
the wire nuts.
NOTE: For proper connection, place the wire nuts over the wires and twist
clockwise until tight.
RECOMMENDED: Wrap with each wire nut with electrical tape (not
included).
4. Drill three holes in the wall or wood.
5. Fix the screws into the holes.
6. Installation complete.

TROUBLE SHOOTING:

A. Light switch is turned off.
B. Fuse is blown or circuit
breaker is turned off.
C. Incorrect circuit wiring.
A. Turn light switch on.
B. Replace fuse or turn
circuit breaker on.
C. Verify that fixture is
wired properly.
Light comes on
during the day.
A. Photocell covered.
A. Clean photocell with
damp cloth.
