AUXILIARY (AUX) MODE
1.
Slide FUNCTION SWITCH to “AUX” position, “AUX” indicator
will be shown on LCD DISPLAY.
2. Connect the earphone socket from Auxiliary unit (e.g. MP3
player or MD player) into AUX-IN jack on the rear of this product via an Audio Line
Cord (3.5mm plug on both ends; not supplied).
3. Play the Auxiliary unit. Music from Auxiliary unit can be listened through the speaker of
this product.
Stereo headphone jack
For private listening, insert the plug of a stereo headphone into STEREO HEADPHONE
JACK and adjust VOLUME CONTROL KNOB accordingly. During the use of headphone
speakers are automatically disconnected.
Note:
Do not listen at extremely high volume level. Extended high volume listening can
lead to permanent hearing loss. Once you set the volume, do not increase it.
Overtime, your ears adapt to the volume level, so a volume level that does not
cause discomfort might still damage your hearing.
CD OPERATION
Playing compact disc (CD-R/RW playback compatible)
Note:
Should skipping of track occur during CD playing try reduce the volume. When CD
is playing do not open CD DOOR.
1. Pull up the CD DOOR. Put a CD disc into CD Compartment and close the door. Set
FUNCTION SWITCH to “CD” position. Press CD/UBS/SD BUTTON repeatedly until
LCD DISPLAY shows
“
DISC
” indicator.
Note:
Ensure CD DOOR is closed properly and locked in place.
2. When CD DOOR is closed with a CD inside, total track number
in the disc will be shown on LCD DISPLAY and go to CD stop
mode (ex. Total 17 tracks inside the disc).
The “DISC” indicator
will always be shown on LCD DISPLAY.
3.
If there has no disc inside, LCD DISPLAY will show “
” and
go to stop mode.
4.
If CD DOOR is not closed, LCD DISPLAY will show “
”.
