(DAB) Cycle through the available station, push “SELECT” button to confirm selection
and start the DAB broadcast.
(FM) Manual tune FM frequency, push “UP”/”DOWN” button step by step to select
the active frequency range.
(All setting modes) Press and hold “UP”/”DOWN” button to the next available
station.

P1/P2/P3/P4/P5
- Press “P1”/”P2”/”P3”/”P4”/”P5” to recall the preset stations.
- Press and hold “P1”/”P2”/”P3”/”P4”/”P5” (DAB/FM) to save the current broadcasting
station into that preset key memory. It has 5 DAB and 5 FM preset memory

VOL-
- Press “VOL-“ button to decrease the volume, Volume level from 0 to 20

VOL+
- Press “VOL+“ button to increase the volume, Volume level from 0 to 20

- Press “SELECT” button to select the highlighted menu item

BACK PANEL
13. AUX IN Socket - Connect a stereo or mono audio source to the AUX IN socket i.e. iPod, MP3 Player, CD
player... etc
14. PHONES Socket - Connect a headphone to this 3.5mm headphone socket to listen the unit. Inserting plug
automatically mutes the internal loudspeaker.
15. DC Socket
- Connect the power adaptor’s DC plug to the DC socket on the rear cabinet. Then connect
the power plug on the other end to an AC outlet.
16. Adjustable
Antenna
- Adjust this adjustable antenna and position it for best DAB or FM reception.
- In Strong FM signal location(s), reduce the length of antenna until better reception.
- If FM reception is unsatisfactory, turn the unit slightly until reaching the best reception.
- Retract the antenna when using/connecting the AUX IN or not using the unit
17. Battery On/Off

Turn ‘ON’ the battery switch to connect the batteries power

Turn ‘OFF’ the battery switch to cut off the batteries power when not using the unit.

- 1 pack AA size rechargeable batteries is installed into the battery compartment
BATTERY OPERATION
- A complete charge should take up to Min. 5 hours with the unit switched to the ‘Standby’ mode. This will
provide for approximately (up to) 5 hours for listening at normal volume. When the battery is low, a symbol
‘Empty Battery’ will flash on the left of the LCD display. After few seconds, it will return to standby mode.

When the battery power is low and less than 20%, it will automatically shut itself off to protect
the batteries.

When charging the battery, the display will light on and has a letter ‘B’ flashing on the left of LCD display. After
60 sec, the time and date will display on the LCD display.

When the battery is fully charged by AC power the letter ‘B’ will disappear.

Reduced power, distortion and a “stuttering” sound are all signs that the battery may need recharging.

If the radio is not to be used for any extended period of time, it is recommended to long press the ‘STANDBY’
key to disconnect the unit and/or switch off the “Battery” switch at the back of the unit.

Switch off the device completely if not used for an extended period of time to avoid over discharge.

Mark sure to always fully use the battery power before charging the batteries. This will lengthen
the life time of the rechargeable batteries.

Over discharge will cause difficulties in recharging the battery again and it may cause batteries to
be damaged.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
To charge the battery, turn ‘ON’ the “Battery” switch. Connect the AC power cable into the AC Input socket at the
back of the unit and connect to AC230V~50Hz house.
NOTE: UNIT CAN ONLY BE CHARGED IN “STANDBY” MODE WITH THE BATTERY POWER
SWITCH ‘ON’
