7. MAINTENANCE AND RECOMMENDED SPARE PARTS LIST
7.1 MAINTENANCE
DANGER!
The pump could start working if someone touches the controls or if it
receives a signal from the control panel.
This could cause serious injuries to anyone handling the pump or pump
drive.
Disconnect the current and lock the switch ON with a padlock, the key of
which must be kept by the person assigned to the work only, before
disassembling any part.
WARNING!
If the pump has a pneumatic vented cover, never do any maintenance
works unless the compressed air supply valve has been closed and locked
beforehand.
SHAFT GASKETS
Shaft gaskets should be regularly inspected and replaced when they start to show
excessive signs of wear.
Replacement:
•
Remove worn gaskets
•
Check the bushing and O-ring: replace where necessary
•
Lightly lubricate inside lip of gasket with alimentary grease
.
