Using Your VAIO Computer

Using the TV Function

If the model you purchased is VGN-AR series, your computer may have a TV tuner board installed along with the Microsoft
Windows XP Media Center Edition operating system to enhance your computing experience. See the online
Specifications to find whether your model is equipped with the TV tuner board.

Media Center provides you with a wide range of TV, DVD, and video viewing, as well as music recording and playback.

To connect terrestrial or cable TV to your computer

Connect one end of an antenna cable/cable-TV cable (not supplied) to the VHF/UHF port on the computer.

2

Connect the other end of the cable to your TV wall outlet/cable service access.
