The mini docking station does not output any signal from the digital output while a music
CD is played in the computer.
Click the Start button and choose Control Panel. Double-click the YAMAHA DS-XG
Audio Config/Digital Output. Confirm that "ON(All Sources)/ Analog out is muted"
is checked. If this is checked, the computer does not output sound.
About the modem
My modem (PC card) doesn’t work
Check that your PC card is properly inserted into your computer (label side
facing up).
Check that your PC card modem has been detected by the system. See “Using PC
Cards” on page 53.
Check that the phone line is plugged into your PC card. See “Connecting to a
phone line” on page 67 for details.
Check that the phone line is working. You can check the line by plugging in an
ordinary phone and listening for a dial tone.
Check that the phone number the program is dialing is correct.
If you connect a GSM phone, make sure that the programming of the supplied PC
card is compatible.
Check that the communication software you are using is compatible with the PC
card: make sure that the driver selected in your communication software matches
your PC card programming (refer to your communication software user manual).
