Slide the LCD lock lever in the direction of the arrow, and lift the
cover.

Slide the power switch on the left side toward the front of the
computer until the power indicator light turns on (green).

If you slide the power switch for more than four seconds, the computer turns
off.

Note on contrast (PCG-735 only): as the contrast of a LCD is variable, adjust
the contrast as follows:
To increase contrast, press Fn+F6 and then or
To decrease contrast, press Fn+F6 and then or
