About Playing a DVD

You can play DVDs and control the playback by using the remote control to fast forward, rewind, stop, or pause playback.

If you play your DVD using another software program, some of the remote control button functions are not available.

To play a DVD

Open Media Center by pressing the Start button

on the remote control or by clicking

Media Center

from the

Start

menu.

Insert the DVD into the optical drive.

After a few seconds, the movie preview begins.

Use the remote control to select

Play Movie

The movie playback begins.

To stop DVD playback

Press the

Stop

button on the remote control, to stop playing the movie.

The

Stopped

menu appears.

Stopped Menu

Press the arrow buttons on the remote control to select an option from the

menu, and then press
