Power ON/OFF switch and indicator
Turns the power on. The indicator is lit while
the power is on.

RECEIVING indicator
Lights up while the printer is receiving the
data to be printed from a computer.
Turns off when the printer starts printing.

PAPER EMPTY indicator
Lights when the printer is out of paper.
Blinks when the thermal head protection
circuit is working against heat build-up.

FEED button (30)
Feeds the print paper while being pressed.

OPEN/CLOSE button (28)
Opens or closes the door. Also, stops the
printing.

Paper cutter
Cuts the print paper.

DIP switches (26)
Sets the paper type and other printer modes.

Connector (36-pin amphenol) (25)
Connects a computer or other peripherals
using a quasi centronics interface cable.
To use the unit in high-speed transmission
mode (ECP mode), use an interface cable in
conformity to IEEE STD 1284 such as
Hewlett Packard C2951A.

AC IN (AC power input) connector (25)
Connect to a wall outlet using the supplied
AC power cord.
