supplied with the TV or components. To enable
the BRAVIA Sync features, connect your TV via
the HDMI OUT 1 jack.
[Linked to TV-off]
[Valid]: Automatically turns off the player
when the connected TV enters standby mode
(BRAVIA Sync).
[Invalid]: Turns off the function.
[HDMI Audio Output]
[Auto]: Outputs audio signal via HDMI OUT 2
jack if it is connected to a device and the
device is turned on. Otherwise, outputs audio
signal via HDMI OUT 1 jack.
[HDMI1]: Outputs audio signal via HDMI OUT 1
jack.
[HDMI2]: Outputs audio signal via HDMI OUT
2 jack.
[Auto Standby]
[On]: Automatically returns to standby mode
if no button is pressed for more than
20 minutes.
[Off]: Turns off the function.
[Auto Display]
[On]: Automatically displays information on
the screen when changing the viewing titles,
picture modes, audio signals, etc.
[Off]: Displays information only when you
press DISPLAY.
[Software Update Notification]
[On]: Sets the player to inform you of newer
software version information (page 20).
[Off]: Turns off the function.
[Device Name]
Displays the player’s name. The player’s
name can be changed.
[System Information]
Displays the player’s software version
information and the MAC address.
[Software License Information]
Displays information about the Software
License.
[Internet Settings]
Connect the player to the network
beforehand. For details, see “3: Network
Connection” (page 12).
[Wired Setup]: Select this when you connect
to a router using a LAN cable.
[Wireless Setup]: Select this when you use
the wireless LAN that is built into the player
for wireless network connection.

[Network Connection Status]
Displays the current network status.
[Network Connection Diagnostics]
Checks for the proper network connection by
running the network diagnostics.
[Connection Server Settings]
Sets whether or not to display the connected
server.
[Auto Home Network Access Permission]
[On]: Allows automatic access from newly
detected Home Network controller-
compatible product.
[Off]: Turns off the function.
[Home Network Access Control]
Displays a list of Home Network controller-
compatible products and sets whether or not
to accept commands from the controllers in
the list.
[Remote Start]
[On]: Allows you to turn on the player by a
device linked via a network.
[Off]: Turns off the function.
Set [Remote Start] to [On] and turn off the player
to activate Network standby (page 33).
