Installing onto the VCR
Install the board as illustrated.

To install this board, consult your supplier or Sony service
representative.
Connecting to a Computer
Connect to a computer as illustrated.
Interface cable to be connected to the RS-232C connector
must be shielded as follows.
Installation
Setting the Data Transfer Rate
After connecting to a computer, set the data transfer rate in
the <OTHER> menu.

Press the MENU button on the VCR to display the
<OTHER> menu.

Press the SHIFT $ button to flash “RS-232C”, and press
the REC/PLAY SPEED + or – button to set the data
transfer rate (1200, 2400, 4800, or 9600 bps).

Press the SEARCH button to return to the normal
screen.
