Charge Current and CHARGE LED Test

Setting:

Procedure: (Use the panel for normal set)
1. Connect equipments as the figure above.
2. In the “TEST A” status, check that the value of digital voltme-

ter is 6.0 to 6.2 V and the

[CHARGE]

LED on the base unit

lights up.

C-ID Input Level Measurement

Setting:

Procedure:
1. Connect equipments as the figure above.
2. In the test mode idling status, press the

[6]

key to display

“TEST F”.

3. Set the output level of audio analyzer to –17 dBm (1.2 kHz,

LPF=30 kHz ON).

4. Check that the value of audio analyzer is –15 to –21 dBm.

ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS

BASE UNIT

Make the set in the test mode. (See page 14)

Note:

To perform the electrical adjustments (test mode), prepare the panel
(BASE CABINET (UPPER) ASSY) for SPP-A2780, and use it con-
necting the panel for SPP-A2780.
But the connector CN302 for panel connection is not mounted on the
BASE MAIN board in this set.
Therefore, in performing the electrical adjustments (test mode) the con-
nector CN302 must be additionally mounted, and it need not be re-
moved after use, as the patterns of the board could be damaged when
removing the connector. However, note that it may be a little difficult
to close the cabinet with the CN302 left mounted because of a narrow
internal space.

Further, additional mounting of the CN301 for the SPP-2780 panel
connection besides the CN302 enables the LCD display. Also, in this
case, the CN301 need not be removed after repair.

Power Failure Test

Procedure:
1. In the test mode idling status, press the

[1]

key to display

“TEST A”.

2. Check that the

[NEW CALL]

LED on the base unit lights up

when connect between TP203 and TP306 (GND) on the BASE
MAIN board.

Procedure:
1. In the “TEST A” status, connect the base unit to telephone

line.

2. Check that the

[IN USE]

LED on the base unit lights up when

call the base unit.

Line Closing of Parallel Connected Another Tele-
phone Detection (On Hook) Test

Procedure:
1. In the “TEST A” status, connect the base unit to telephone

line.

2. Connect this set and another telephone in parallel to one tele-

phone line.

3. Check that the

[NEW CALL]

LED on the base unit lights up

when you take up the receiver of another telephone.
