Basics

Receiving a call while talking on the other
line

If another call comes while talking on the other line, you will hear a
ringer tone through the speaker of the handset.

Example: Receiving a call on line 2 while talking on line 1

Press

(HOLD)

The line 1 is put on hold.

Press

(LINE 2)

Now you can talk to another call on line 2.

When you’re done talking to the second party (on line 2),
press

(OFF)

to disconnect the line 2.

Press

(LINE 1)

You can resume the conversation with the first party again.

Tip

Even if you do not press

(HOLD)

in step 1, the line 1 is put on hold by presseing

(LINE 2)

You can talk with two parties at the same time using both line 1 and
line 2 (Three-way conference, see page 27).
