Test mode setting:
– Base Unit –
1. Press three keys of

[ERASE]
simultaneously to
enter the test mode.
2. Press the

key to activate test mode D and display “TEST
D”. (TX on, main antenna)
3. Press the

key to change the channel to 28.
– Handset –
1. Press three keys of

simultaneously to
enter the test mode.

key to activate test mode D and display “TEST
D”. (TX on)
3. Press the

key to set master.
4. Press the
[1]
or

key to change the channel to 28.
Test mode setting is complete, check that the waveform on spec-
trum analyzer is displayed as below.
Measuring:
– Base Unit –
1. Maximum hold the waveform. (refer to below figure)
2. Set the maker to the peak of waveform with the Peak Search
function and read that value. (main antenna)
3. Press the

key to switch the antenna mode to “sub”.
4. Set the maker to the peak of waveform with the Peak Search
function and read that value. (sub antenna)
– Handset –
1. Maximum hold the waveform. (refer to below figure)
2. Set the maker to the peak of waveform with the Peak Search
function and read that value. (TX power: Hi)
3. Press the
[7]
key twice to switch the TX power level to “ML”.
4. Set the maker to the peak of waveform with the Peak Search
function and read that value. (TX power: ML)

2. RECEIVING CHECK
2-1. Setting
Put two units of the base unit and handset nearby. (on the one
desk)
2-2. Link check of Between Base Unit and Handset
Procedure:
1. Press three keys of
[2]
,
[6]
, and
[ERASE]
on the base unit
simultaneously to enter the test mode, and press the
[4]
key to
activate test mode D and display “TEST D”.
Perform this process for the handset at the same manner to
activate test mode D and display “TEST D”.
(base unit: master mode, handset: slave mode)
2. Check the display of LCD on both base unit and handset.
“STS=0011” is displayed when the base unit and handset are
linked normally.
Display:
STS=0011 : OK
STS=1x0x : NG (x: 0 or 1)
3. Press the
[6]
keys of base unit and handset to switch modes.
(base unit: master mode
→
slave mode, handset: slave mode
→
master mode)
4. In this status (master/slave relation of base unit and handset is
reversed), check the display of LCD on both base unit and
handset as same as step 2.

STS=1x0x : NG (x: 0 or 1)
