Karaoke sing-along

Singing along with karaoke video
tapes

You can sing along with a karaoke video
tape, a TV broadcast, or music played
back on equipment connected to the
LINE-1 IN or LINE-2 IN jacks on the
unit. You can sing duets if you use an
extra microphone (not supplied).

Before you start...

• Turn on the unit and the TV.
• Set the TV to the video channel.
• Connect the supplied microphone to

the MIC IN 1 jack and its control plug
to the CONTROL jack. To sing duets,
connect an optional microphone to the
MIC IN 2 jack.

Press KARAOKE ON/OFF to set karaoke mode to on.

The KARAOKE ON/OFF button and the KARAOKE CONTROL knob
light up.

Insert a karaoke video tape.

The unit starts playing automatically if you insert a tape with its safety
tab removed.

Press

PLAY.

If you want to play back a specific song, see “Searching for a song using
the AMS function” on page 39.

Switch the microphone on.

Now you can enjoy singing karaoke.

To cancel karaoke mode

Press KARAOKE ON/OFF. The KARAOKE ON/OFF button lights off.

To adjust the microphone volume

Turn MIC VOL 1 for the microphone connected to MIC IN 1. Turn
MIC VOL 2 for the microphone connected to MIC IN 2.

Setting the MIC VOL 1 and/or 2 control(s) to the centre position provides
the best microphone volume.
